Hob installation

Electrical connection
An oven must have power ventilation to install a hob
above it. Check the oven's dimensions in its installation
manual.
Make the appropriate size cut in the work surface. Fig. 4.
If there is no oven below the cooking hob, place a non-
inflammable separator (e. g. metal or plywood) 10mm
from the bottom of the cooking hob. This will prevent
access to the base of the hob.
On wood work surfaces varnish the cutting surfaces with
a special glue. This protects them from water vapour
which could collect under the work surface.
The adhesive joint prevents water seepage. If it is
factory installed (depending on model), do not move it.
If it is not factory installed, adhere the joint supplied on
the underside of the cooking hob. Fig. 6.
Remove the clamps from the bag provided.Gently
screw the clamps into the holes indicated. Fig. 7.
Insert the cooking hob. Press the sides of the hob until
it is supported around its entire perimeter. Center it in
the insertion space. Fig. 8.
Turn the clamps and proceed in reverse order to the
installation. Fig. 9.
Check that the power and voltage of the appliance
given on the specifications plate are compatible with
the electrical installation.
The cooking hobs are supplied with a power cable
with or without a wall socket plug.
Appliances with plugs must only be connected to
sockets that have earth wires correctly installed.
