STARTING INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent the motor from starting accidentally, this unit has a
throttle lockout. The throttle control cannot be squeezed unless the
throttle lockout is also engaged.
1. Install the battery. Refer to Installing the Battery.
2. Push the throttle lockout into the throttle control and hold it in
place (Fig. 5).
3. While continuing to hold the throttle lockout, squeeze and hold
the throttle control (Fig. 5).
4. Release the throttle lockout, but continue to squeeze the throttle
control. Squeeze the throttle control to the degree needed for
the operation.
STOPPING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Release the throttle control and wait for all moving parts to come
to a complete stop (Fig. 5).
WARNING:
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions.
CHECKING THE BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL
Press the charge meter button on the battery. The number of lights
that illuminate will indicate the current charge level of the battery
(Fig. 6). If all four lights are dark, charge the battery before any
further use.
NOTE: While in use, lithium-ion batteries provide power with
minimal power fade. When the battery is fully discharged, it will
immediately cut power to the unit and require charging.
