Malfunctions
Problem
The hot air-fried food is
too dark.
The hot air-fried food is
not crispy.
The hot air-fried food is
not browned regularly
White smoke is coming
out the appliance.
Black smoke is coming out
the appliance.
The operating lamp is not
lit.
The hot air-frying basket is
jammed.

Possible cause
The temperature is too high or
the time too long.
The temperature is too low or
the time too short.
The hot air-fried food contains
too much water
The hot air is not reaching all
parts.
The hot air-fried food is very
fatty and the escaping fat is
causing white smoke.
The hot air-frying basket still
contains grease from the last
use.
Caution: Fat fire!
Power supply interrupted.
Hot air-frying basket not
pushed in fully.
The hot air-frying basket is too
full or is skewed.
Remedy
Reduce the time.
Reduce the temperature.
Increase the time.
Increase the temperature.
Do not overfill the hot air-frying
basket.
Allow the hot air-fried food to
drain/dry well beforehand
Shake or turn the hot air-fried
food from time to time.
There is no need to do anything.
Always clean the hot air-frying
basket after use.
Immediately unplug the mains
plug and keep the appliance
closed until it stops smoking.
Insert the plug into a suitable
socket. Check the fuse. Do not
use the appliance together
with other consumers.
Push in the hot air-frying basket
fully, so that it closes the
housing.
The hot air-fried food must not
protrude above the MAX mark.
Avoid skewing the basket on
inserting.
