4X4 HDMI Matrix Switch with 4K HDMI & HDBaseT Outputs Control Inputs: TCP/IP connects to a LAN and can be used to control the matrix using Telnet. Use the RS-232 port via DB9 cable to control the unit. There is an IR detector on the front panel of the matrix already, so connecting the IR Detector cable to the IR control port may not be needed. -

A main advantage of using the HBX-R is that even though they are shipped with a 5v power supply, when connected to the HSM-44-BX, they get power via the HDBaseT Cat6 from the matrix and connection of the power supply adapter is not required. -
