3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.4.5. CIS unit and Scan Drive unit

1. Remove the platen unit. (Refer to 3.4.4)
2. Remove 5 screws from the bottom of the platen unit.
3. Remove the OPE Unit.
4. Remove 3 screws.

5. Lift up and release the platen upper from the platen
lower.
6. Unplug the flat cable. Release the CIS unit.
7. Remove the scan drive unit after removing 3 screws.
