Tips for saving energy

Only preheat the appliance if this is specified in the recipe or
in the operating instructions table.
Open the appliance door as infrequently as possible while
the food is cooking.
Use dark, black lacquered or enamelled baking tins for
baking. They absorb the heat particularly well.
It is best to bake several cakes one after the other. The
combination steam oven will still be hot. This reduces the
baking time for the second cake. You can also place two loaf
tins next to each other.
If the cooking time is relatively long, you can switch off the
combination steam oven 10 minutes before the end of the
cooking time and use the oven's residual heat to complete
the cooking process.
When steaming, you can cook on several levels at the same
time. When preparing foods with different cooking times,
those with the longest cooking time should be placed in the
oven first.
