Replacing the Pure N Fresh Filter

It is recommended that you replace the Pure N
Fresh Filter:
Approximately every six months.

When the CHANGE FILTER light turns on.

Remove the Old Filter
Turn the filter cover to the left to detach
from the fridge wall. The filter is located on
the inside of the filter cover. Remove the
filter from the cover and replace it with a
new filter.

Install a New Pure N Fresh Filter.
Place the new filter inside of the cover with
the side that says "Front" facing outward.
Then refit and turn the filter cover to the right
to secure it to the fridge wall.
After changing the filter, push and hold the
Pure N Fresh button for three seconds to
reset the filter sensor.

Replacing the Water Filter

NOTE
This fridge does not require a filter bypass
plug when the filter is not in place.
It is recommended that you replace the water filter:
Approximately every six months.

When the water filter indicator turns on.
y
When the water dispenser output decreases.
y
When the ice cubes are smaller than normal.

Remove the old water filter.
Lift up and remove the lower door bin on the
Left hand fridge door. Swing the right end
of the water filter out of the compartment
and then grasp and rotate the filter
counterclockwise to remove it from the filter
head.
NOTE
Replacing the water filter could cause a
small amount of water to drain. Place a cup
under the filter head to catch any water.

Replace with a new water filter.
Insert the new filter into the filter head and
rotate it clockwise until the arrow on the
new filter lines up with the arrow on the
filter head. Swing the filter back into the
compartment.

Assemble the door bin. When a new filter is
inserted the water may appear to be clouded.

Even though safe to
drink, the cloudiness will
eventually disappear once
all of the air in the filter
has been passed through.
