Shutter Speed

The camcorder automatically sets the shutter speed depending on the scene's brightness. You can also
manually adjust the shutter speed according to the scene conditions.
PRECHECK!
Select the Record (
/
1. Press the MENU button  Control joystick (/) 
"Shutter Speed."
2. Select the desired submenu item with the Control joystick (/),
and then press the OK button.
3. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.

The camcorder automatically sets the
"Auto"
appropriate shutter speed value.
Shutter speed can be set to 1/50, 1/120,
"Manual"
1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000, or
1/10000.
Setting the shutter speed manually:
1. Select "Manual."
2. Adjust the shutter speed value with the Control joystick(/).
• Confi rm the desired shutter speed setting by pressing the OK
button.
• Shutter speed value can be set between 1/50~1/10000.
• To capture fast movements of the subject, set a fast shutter
speed value. To give the impression to the fast movements
overall, set a slow shutter speed value.
