Cause/remedy
Detergent drawer has been pulled out.
Water pressure too low, may increase the programme duration.
No water supply:
Turn the tap on fully,
Supply hose kinked/trapped,
If required, clean the filter. ~ Page 28
The childproof lock is activated – deactivate it. ~ Page 18
Childproof lock activated, programme selector turned or a control panel has been
touched.
Run the Drum Clean 90 °C programme or a 60 °C programme to clean and care
for the drum and the outer tub.
Notes
Run the programme without laundry.
Use washing powder or a detergent containing bleach. To prevent foaming,
only use half the amount of detergent recommended by the detergent manufac-
turer. Do not use detergents designed for woollens or delicates.
Switching the information signal on/off
Too much foam has been detected and an additional wash cycle has been acti-
vated. Add less detergent to the next washing cycle with the same load.
Error in the i-DOS system. The i-DOS function is automatically deactivated.
The appliance can be used as normal with manual dosing.
To repair the i-DOS system, please call after-sales service.
At the end of the programme.
Not an appliance fault – the unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the
spin cycle because the laundry is unevenly distributed.
Distribute small and large items of washing in the drum. If required, spin the laundry
once more.
There is water in the base plate, the appliance is leaking. Turn off the tap. Call the
after-sales service. ~ Page 33
The drain pump is blocked. Clean the drain pump. ~ Page 27
The drain hose/drain pipe is blocked. Clean the drain hose at the siphon.

Switch off the appliance, wait for five seconds and then switch it on again. If the dis-
play appears again, call the after-sales service. ~ Page 33
