Understand Your Machine • WARNING! You must read these instructions carefully before operating the machine. Make sure that you are familiar with the controls and properly operate the machine.

Be aware that the machine may unexpectedly bounce upward or jump forward if the machine should strike buried obstacles such as large rocks or roots. Every precaution is only effective when it is followed exactly. Intended Use This machine was designed and manufactured for clearing hard surfaces such as driveways and walkways.

    Lay the contents out and check them. If any part is damaged or missing, you must not use the machine. Contact HYUNDAI Power Products immediately. You must keep the packaging material in case the machine needs to be returned or repaired.

    Assembly Fitting And Removal Of Battery DANGER - To avoid accidental operation and injury, the battery should always be removed whenever you are not using the tool. Fitting Battery When inserting the battery, ensure the ridges of the battery pack align with the ribs inside the Blower Body.
  • Page 18 Assembly Installing Blower Tube When installing the Blower Tube, ensure the battery is removed. This will ensure now accidental starting whilst installing the Blower Tube. 1. Line up the Upper Blower Tube, with the Blower Body. Align the Release Latches of the blower body with the location holes on the Upper Blower Tube and secure.

    Operation When using the Blower, always ensure correct PPE is used. The HYB40Li On/Off Switch has 3 settings. 0 - Off 1 - This settings is used for blowing smaller objects. Good for preserving battery life. 2 - This setting is more powerful than 1. Used for larger objects, or piles of small objects.
