DEFROSTING GUIDE
* Food to be defrosted should be in a suitable microwave proof container and should be placed uncovered on the metal tray.
* If necessary, shield small areas of meat or poultry with flat pieces of aluminum foil. This will prevent thin areas becoming warm during defrosting.
Ensure the foil does not touch the oven walls.
* Separate items like minced meat, chops, sausages and bacon as soon as possible. When BEEP, turn food over. Continue to defrost remaining pieces. Allow
to stand until completely thawed.
* For example, joints of meat and tandoori chickens should be standed for a minimum 1 hour before cooking.
