Composer melody
(Menu 7.3.1)
When you access this menu, a stave screen displays
with a selection point at the first note position.
Creating a melody
You can compose a melody of up to 10 pages and you
can insert 12 notes or rests onto each page.
1. Move the selection point up or down.
2. When you have placed the selection point to your
satisfaction, tap or press <Input>.
3. Select a note or rest.
The note or rest is inserted onto the stave and the
selection point moves to the right on the same
line.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to add more notes and rests.
You can also add a background melody, change
the tempo, or adjust the volume by using
composer options.
5. When you have finished, tap or press <Save>.
6. Enter a name for your melody and tap or press
<Save>.

Using composer options
While composing a melody, tap or press <Options>
to access the following options:
•
New: open a new composer screen.
•
Open: open the list of the melodies you have
composed.
•
Play: play back the current melody.
•
Save: save the melody.
•
Save as: save the melody with a different name.
•
Instrument: change the musical instrument for
the melody.
•
BGM: use a background melody.
•
Add note: add notes to the melody.
•
Tempo: change the tempo.
•
Volume: adjust the volume level of the main and
background melodies separately.
Editing a melody
While composing a melody or after opening a saved
melody, you can edit it.
