System Requirements

• RJ45 terminated Cat5 or higher Ethernet cabling
• 10/100/1000 Mbps compatible Ethernet network

Installation

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the desired source network
device (for example, computer, router, non-PoE switch, and so on)
to the GbE RJ45 connector of the PoE Injector.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the GbE + PoE connector on the
PoE Injector unit.
3. Connect the other end of the cable used in Step 2 to either a PoE+
/ PoE-compliant device, or to a POE Splitter to separate data and
power on the device end.
4. Plug the included AC power adapter to an outlet and connect to
the PoE Injector. Ensure that the power LED is illuminated.
