 Boil water, cook fresh fruit, vegetables, rice and pasta .
Reheat soups, stews and casseroles .
2 Thaw foods .
3 Cook poultry, meat, cakes and desserts . Heat milk .
4 Cook pot roasts, casseroles and meatloaves, melt chocolate . Cook eggs
and cheese . Cook fish .
5 Simmer soups, stews and casseroles (less tender cuts .) Soften butter
and cream cheese .
6 Keep cooked foods warm, simmer slowly .
