Adjust the humidity level inside the VitControl box

(Fig. 17)
Various products, such as fruit or vegetables, require a suitable level of humidity in
order to stay fresh longer. VitControl box is equipped with a slider (Fig. 17), so the
box can be supplied with more air, which will change the humidity level inside the
box.
1. Box cover
2. Air supply adjusting slider
3. Vegetable box front
Fruits require lower humidity level, therefore air supply must be opened with a slider.
With vegetables it is the other way round, to keep them fresh longer, you should
close the air flow with a slider. The exact slider position depends on your own pref-
erences.

The temperature inside the refrigerator compartment is also influenced by the po-
sition of the slider controlling the amount of air supplied to the compartment via no-
frost system.
Setting the slider to min. position will result in supplying less cool air into the refriger-
ator compartment. This results in minimal increase in temperature.
When the slider in max. position, the refrigerator compartment will be supplied with
larger amount of air. This results in a slight temperature drop inside the compartment.

Fresh Zone box

The temperature in the Fresh Zone crisper does not exceed 3°C for the temperature
setting in the fridge compartment of approx. 5°C. For higher settings – the temper-
ature in the Freshzone crisper may rise above 3°C. These are perfect conditions for
storing meat, fish, and other food products that require special conditions. Lower
temperature preserves food products flavour, aroma and nutritional values. Due to
special guides, access to the Fresh Zone box is extremely simple and convenient.
