2. Start-up

2.1 Unpacking
Carefully unpack the device and make sure all accessories are present:
• Infrared remote control
• Mains adapter
• Operating instructions
• 2 x AAA/LR03 batteries
• Audio cable 1.5 meters - 3.5mm jack plug
2.2 Connecting
• Connect the mains adapter to the radio and to the mains socket.
• Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert the batteries with correct
polarity.
The specified polarity (+/-) is marked in the battery compartment.
2.3 DAB + / FM telescopic antenna
1. Carefully unlock the antenna on the left side of the casing.
2. Turn the antenna upwards and pull out all the elements completely.
3. Align the antenna for the best reception.
2.4 Network connection
In order to receive Internet radio, the radio must be integrated into a network. To do this, the router
must be switched on and connected to the Internet. Make sure that the WLAN connection of the router
is activated. You can also consult the router's operating instructions.
