Do not put water into the appliance if it is
still hot.
All appliances are subjected to rigorous
quality tests. Working tests are carried out
on appliances taken randomly from stock,
and this will explain any trace of use on the
appliance.
If your appliance is equipped with an
insulated flask (according to model), then:
In order to avoid damaging the glass interior
of the plastic insulated flask, do not place
sharp instruments inside it. Neither should
you place ice cubes or sugar candy in it,
except very gently if there is liquid inside it
(the stainless steel insulated flask is much
more robust, by virtue of its construction).
Never place your hand inside the insulated
flask if the interior is a glass one.
Before first use
Operate the coffee-maker for the first time
with no coffee, and with the water reservoirs
full (both sides), to rinse out the circuits.
Preparation of coffee
Your appliance is a 2 coffee-maker set, and
these can be used independently or
simultaneously.
Your appliance is fitted with glass pourers
(according to model):
Follow the illustrations, from 1 to 9.
Do not fill the reservoir above the gradua-
tion mark.
The anti-drip system allows you to remove
the pourer (i) during coffee preparation.
Return the pourer to the coffee-maker
without delay, in order to prevent overflow
of the filter holder (e).
To keep the coffee hot, return the pourer (i)
to the hotplate (g). The coffee will stay hot
as long as the coffee-maker is left switched
on.
Your appliance is fitted with insulated
flasks (according to model):
Follow the illustrations from 10 to 18.
Do not fill the reservoir above the gradua-
tion mark.

For better retention of the heat, rinse the
insulated flask (i) in hot water before use.
To optimise the retention of heat, the
insulated flask should be removed from the
coffee-maker as soon as the coffee has
finished percolating.
Remove the filter holder (e), and turn the lid
firmly to the right (figure 17).
To pour, rotate the cover one quarter turn to
the left (figure 18).
Your appliance is equipped with a
"reinforced aroma" system, for one to
three cups (according to model):
The left side of the appliance (according to
model) is fitted with this system. This allows
the duration of water passage to be
lengthened if you want only 1, 2 or 3 cups.
For 4 cups or more, put the switch (d) to the
4-max
position. For 1 to 3 cups, put the
switch (d) to the 1-3
Making tea (according to

preparation of tea. Position
five cups, and position

Cleaning
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply.
Do not clean the appliance when still hot.

Never put the appliance into water on under
running water.

the filter holder from the coffee-maker.
