Storing your iron

Turn the temperature control dial to OFF and set the steam control knob to 0 (no

steam).
Unplug the iron.

Pour any remaining water out of the water reservoir.

Stand the iron upright and let it cool down completely.

Wind the power cord around the iron.

Always store the iron in an upright position.

Safety protective cut-out
In the unlikely event of the thermostat failing, the protective cut-out operates to prevent
the iron from overheating. If that occurs, the iron should be taken to the nearest
authorized service facility.

Troubleshooting

CAUTION: Do not try to repair your iron yourself. Doing so invalidates the warranty.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The iron may not be
plugged in or the
temperature control dial is
not set correctly.
The chosen temperature is
too low and does not allow
the formation of steam.
You are using steam while
the iron is not hot enough.
You are using the Burst of
Steam button too often.
There is too much steam
selected.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Plug in the iron and turn up the temperature
control dial. If the temperature indicator
does not come on, does a lamp plugged
into the same outlet turn on? If it does, there
is a problem with the iron. Contact customer
service.
Set the temperature control dial in the
steam range (from •• to MAX).
Wait until the temperature indicator turns
off.
Wait a few seconds between each use of the
button.
Reduce the steam rate.
