REMOTE CONTROL
1. Insert t he t wo bat teries (provided).
2. Aim t he remote cont rol at t he signal receiver on t he
cont rol panel to operate t he air condit ioner.
A. Power
Turns ON/ OFF power to t he air condit ioner.
NOTE: Turning off power by pressing t he Power but ton does
NOT disconnect t he appliance from t he power supply.
• Press t he Power but ton. The Power indicator will illuminate.
B. Mode
Press t he Mode but ton to toggle among t he operat ing
opt ions. The corresponding indicator will illuminate:
Heat (on some models) - Heat s t he room to t he set
temperat ure
Cool – Cools t he room to t he set temperat ure
DRY – Reduces t he humidit y in t he room
Fan – Circulates t he air in t he room wit hout cooling
C. Temperature
Adjust s t he Temperat ure or Hours in Time Delay.
To Set t he Temperature:
The temperat ure can be set bet ween 61ºF and 89ºF (17ºC
and 30º C) when t he air condit ioner is in Cool mode.
1. Press t he Mode but ton unt il t he Cool mode is selected.
2. Press t he Up Arrow or Down Arrow but tons to select t he
Temperat ure.

NOTE: The temperat ure cannot be set when t he air
condit ioner is in eit her Fan or DRY mode.
NOTE: The Up Arrow and Down Arrow but tons, when pressed
at t he same t ime, allow you to select bet ween displaying
t he temperat ure in ºC or ºF. The corresponding indicator will
illuminate.
D. Fan Speed
The fan speed can be adjusted from Low, Medium, to High
speed when t he air condit ioner is in operat ion.
NOTE: The fan speed cannot be adjusted when t he unit is in
DRY mode.
• Press t he Fan Speed but ton to toggle among t he t hree speeds.
The corresponding fan speed indicator will illuminate.
E. Timer
Program a t ime from (1- hour to 24- hours) for t he air condit ioner
to t urn Off or On. When a Time Delay is programmed, t he
Timer indicator light will illuminate.
F. Swing Button
The louvers on your port able air condit ioner will open
automat ically (do not pry t hem open or push t hem shut ).
Use t he Swing But ton on your remote to adjust t he louvers
in t he posit ion you would like t hem to be in, or to operate in
Swing mode t he louvers will cont inue to move up and down.
