Restricting access to digital channels

You can restrict access to the digital
channels by blocking them with an access PIN
code.
Turning on PIN code protection
1. Press the button on the remote
control and use the Î or ï button to
select Digital TV from the source list.
2. Press the button to display the
setup menu.
3. Press the ï button to select Access
Restrictions, and press the Æ button.
4. Press the Æ button to select Set PIN
Protection.
5. Press the Î or ï button to select On,
u
and press the button to confirm.
The next time you use the Access
Restrictions submenu, you will need to
enter your PIN code.
If you have forgotten your PIN code, you
can use the default code "0711" to enter
the submenu.
Once you have access to the submenu,
you should change your PIN code.

Changing your PIN code

1. Repeat steps 1 to 3 from the section,
Turning on PIN code protection.
2. Press the ï button until Change Pin
Code is selected and press the Æ button.
3. Press the Æ button to select Enter your
system pin and press the u button.
4. Enter the current PIN code using the
numeric buttons (0-9) on the remote
control.
If you have forgotten the current PIN
code, enter "1234".
