the correct polarity (+ / –).
Take the batteries out of the article when
they are dead or if you will not be using
the article for a prolonged period. This
will prevent any damage that might oc-
cur if a battery leaks.
Remove a dead battery from the article
immediately. Clean the contacts before
a new battery is inserted.
The batteries must not be recharged or
reactivated by other means, must not be
dismantled, thrown into a fi re, immersed
in liquids or short-circuited.
If the article is broken, do not attempt to
repair it yourself. Repairs may only be
carried out by specialists. In the event
of any damage, please contact our cus-
tomer service department.
Keep the article away from sources of
heat such as ovens or naked fl ames.
