1.1 SAFETY WARNINGS IN THE MANUAL

Only use the backplane module CFW900-4SLOTS in inverters
WEG of the CFW900 series.
This guide contains important information regarding the proper
understanding and correct operation of this module.
1.2 PRELIMINARY RECOMMENDATIONS

Wait for at least 10 minutes for the full discharge of the inverter.
2 GENERAL INFORMATION
This guide should be used in the installation, configuration and operation
module backplane CFW900-4SLOTS. The module has inputs for up to 4
accessories (A to D) according to
Figure
A.2.
3 PACKAGE CONTENTS
Upon receiving the product, check if the package contains:
Accessory in anti-static package.
Installation and operation guide.
Identification labels for the accessory.
4 INSTALLATION OF THE ACCESSORY
The CFW900-4SLOTS is easily connected to the frequency inverter CFW900
by means of the "plug-and-play" concept. The procedures below must be
observed for the proper installation and start-up and are exemplified in the
Figure
A.1:
1. Remove the HMI from the front of the inverter. (A)
2. Remove the two screws and detach the front cover. (B and C).
3. Press on the locks (D) and remove the current backplane from connector
X20 of the CFW900 (E).
4. Connect the new backplane CFW900-4SLOTS to connector X20 of the
CFW900. (F and G)
5. Reinstall the front cover and HMI and tighten the screws.
6. Power up the CFW900 and check if the backplane was correctly identified
in parameter S1.4.1.1

2 INFORMACIONES GENERALES
Esta guía orienta en la instalación, configuración y operación del módulo
backplane CFW900-4SLOTS. El módulo tiener entradas para hasta 4
accesorios (de la A a la D) según
Figura
A.2.
3 CONTENIDO DEL EMBALAJE
Al recibir el producto, verifique si el embalaje contiene:
Accesorio en embalaje antiestático.
Guía de instalación y operación.
Etiquetas de identificación de los accesorios.
4 INSTALACIÓN DEL ACCESORIO
El CFW900-4SLOTS es fácilmente conectado al convertidor de frecuencia
CFW900 utilizando el concepto "plug-and-play"'. Para la correcta
instalación y puesta en funcionamiento, seguir los procedimientos listados
abajo y presentados en la
Figura
A.1:
1. Retirar la HMI de la parte frontal del convertidor. (A)
2. Retirar los dos tornillos y desencajar la tapa frontal. (B y C)
3. Desconectar y retirar el backplane actual del conector X20 del CFW900.
(D y E)
4. Conectar el nuevo backplane CFW900-4SLOTS en el conector X20 del
CFW900. (F y G)
5. Recolocar la tapa frontal y la HMI, y apretar los tornillos.
6. Energizar el CFW900 y verificar si backplane fue identificado
correctamente en el parámetro S1.4.1.1
