Safety

• Keep away from children.
• Do not submerge in water.
• Requires 1x 1.2V AA 300mAh Ni MH battery in each house (included).
• When disposing of batteries please ensure they are correctly recycled.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries could
cause leakage of caustic acid that could cause skin burns and
damage materials it contacts.
• When installing batteries, observe correct polarity.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Wear gloves and use caution when removing leaking batteries. Make
sure you dispose of batteries at your local recycling centre.
• Not suitable for commercial purposes.

Instructions for use

• Turn the on/off switch to the on position on the bottom of the house.
• Place the lights in the desired position.
• Ensure it is in a sunny location away from any other artificial light
sources; allow at least 8-12 hours to charge.
• The light will automatically turn on at dusk and will turn off at dawn.
Note: The house must be placed in a well-lit location for maximum sunlight
absorption. Anything that shades the panel will affect the brightness and
lighting duration. At least 6 hours of sunlight is required for the lights to
illuminate. Remember - during winter months charging time will be reduced
due to the limited daylight hours.

Cleaning and maintenance

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth as and when required to remove surface
dust and debris. A dirty solar panel will inhibit the charging and will reduce
the amount of usage time.
