UPKEEP
When cleaning the appliance,

always make sure to disconnect the
power plug. Allow the appliance
to cool before washing it. Do not
place the base, the cord or the
plug into water.
Clean the coffee maker and the
*
base using a damp cloth. If the
coffee maker is particularly dirty,
a small amount of detergent may
be added.
Do not use scouring pads, steel
*
wool or any type of strong solvents
or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the appliance. They may damage
its external surfaces.
Remove the carafe, the filter
*
holder and the permanent filter,
and clean them in water to which
dishwashing liquid was added.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
These parts can also be cleaned in
*
a dishwasher.
IMPORTANT! Allow the appliance
*
to dry completely after cleaning
and before reusing it. Do not use
the appliance if the base or the
underside of the appliance is wet.
Make sure that the appliance is
*
clean and dry before storing it.
