Storing lithium-ion batteries
• Store fully charge batteries in a dry and dust-free environment at an
ambient temperature between 5 °C and 40 °C. If you are not using
the batteries for a longer period of time, we recommend you charge
them fully once every three months.
• Keep the battery contacts clean. Do not store the replacement bat-
tery together with metal items as it may cause a short circuit.
• It is always necessary to charge batteries that were not used for
a long time prior to use.
Transporting lithium-ion batteries
As per legal regulation, lithium-ion batteries fall into the hazardous load
category. These batteries must be transported while complying with lo-
cal, national, as well as international guidelines and regulations.
• Consumers may transport these batteries on public roads without
a problem.
• Commercial transportation of lithium-ion batteries by transpor-
tation companies must comply with the regulation on hazardous
load transportation. Only trained personnel may carry out the
preparation and the actual transport. The entire process must have
expert supervision.
The following must be maintained during battery transportation:
• Make sure that contacts are protected and isolated to prevent
a short circuit.
• Be careful so that a large number of batteries do not move around
or fall and collapse during transport.
• Damaged and leaking batteries cannot be transported.

Warning!!
It is not expected for the user to perform any service repairs on the
charger. There are no spare parts inside the charger, which users could
repair on their own. It is necessary to bring the charger to your nearest
authorised service centre to prevent damage to spare parts, which are
sensitive to static electricity, for example.
Always use the right set of batteries (the set delivered with the tools or
a replacement set recommended by Narex s.r.o.). Never use any other
sets of accumulator batteries because they could damage your tools and
cause a hazardous situation.

Safety Elements and Their Mounting

The grinder may only be used with the guard (5) and the detachable
handle (11) mounted!
Remove the accumulator before transport, storage or be-
fore doing any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
change of tools). Risk of injury in the event of accidentally
pressing the switch.
Guard
Attention! Standard equipment of the angle grinder includes
a guard designed exclusively for work with grinding discs. If you
intend to use the angle grinder for cutting, it must be fitted with
a guard for work with cutting discs, which you can purchase under
ord. no. 65 405 748 for 230 mm disc diameter. If you use the ma-
chine for cutting without this specialised guard, you are increasing
the risk of injury and Narex is not liable for any injury to the user
or another person resulting from non-observance of this safety
instruction.
Lift up the guard arresting lever (5a) and mount the guard (5) so that
the guiding protrusions (4b) overlap the guiding grooves (4a) on the
fastening neck (3). Adjust the position of the guard (5) as your work re-
quires. Arrest the guard (5) in the position of choice using the lever (5a).
If needed, adjust the clamping force on the guard by tightening or loos-
ening the lever nut. Do this only when the lever is unlocked.
Detachable Handle
Screw on the detachable handle (11) to the right or the left of the gear-
box (2), depending on how you intend to hold the machine during work.

Mounting a Grinding or Cutting Disc

Remove the accumulator before transport, storage or be-
fore doing any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
change of tools). There is risk of injury in the event of the
switch being accidentally pressed.
Clean the bottom flange (8) and fastening nut (9), as well as the clamp-
ing surfaces of the grinding or cutting disc (10a; 10b). Mount the bottom
flange (8) (with the fitting facing out) onto the spindle (7). Mount the
grinding or cutting disc. The fitting of the bottom flange (8) must fit pre-
cisely into the opening on the grinding or cutting disc. Then, mount the
fastening nut (9) onto the spindle (7) so the fitting of the fastening nut
faces the disc if mounting a grinding disc, and faces away from the disc
if mounting a cutting disc!
Push in the spindle locking pin (2a).
Attention! Use the locking pin only when the spindle is not
moving.
Rotate the grinding spindle past the grinding/cutting disc until the lock-
ing pin (2a) falls in place. Use the wrench (12) to tighten the fastening
nut (9) firmly.
Attention! Before you turn on the machine, check that the
disc cannot move freely between the bottom flange (8) and
the fastening nut (9).

Starting the Machine

Inserting and Removing the Accumulator
Slide the accumulator (B1) all the way into the shaft on the back of the
machine's handle. Pull on the accumulator to make sure it is fitted prop-
erly.
To remove the accumulator (B1) from the machine, push on the accumu-
lator clamp (B2) and pull the accumulator out.
Turning on
Push the switch (1) forwards, thus switching the machine on. If you de-
press the front switch button part (1), the switch will be arrested in the
ON position.
Turning off
By releasing the switch button (1), the switch will be returned to the
initial position and the machine will be switched off. If the switch (1)
is arrested in the ON position, then by moderate depressing the rear
switch button part (1), the switch will be released and returned to the
initial position, i.e. the machine will be switched off.

Electronic Safeguards

The machine is fitted with circuitry designed to prevent serious damage
to the machine. If the electronics detect any of the faults/defects below,
the machine stops immediately. Remove the fault/defect by proceeding
in accordance with the table.

Grinding and Cutting Discs

Check the maximum permitted peripheral speed or revolutions on the
disc's label. The values must not be lower than those listed in the techni-
cal parameters included in this manual.
Only use discs with a permitted peripheral speed of 80 m/s and higher.
To test new discs, let them run at no load for approx. 1 minute. Do not
use unbalanced or vibrating discs.
Protect discs from impact, shocks and lubricating grease.
If your grinding or cutting discs are worn, it is recommended to replace
them with new ones. This will ensure that the optimal grinding or cut-
ting output (optimal peripheral speed) of the machine is maintained.
