GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Remember!
• Read these safety instructions and the operating manual, and follow them
carefully.
• Keep both booklets safe, and make sure they accompany the appliance if it is
passed on to someone else at a later date.
When using your Vacuum cleaner, basic safety precautions must always be
followed, including the below;
• Read all instructions before using.
• To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, Plug in water or other
liquid.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manu-
facturer may cause injuries.
Notice:
• Think ahead, and use common sense when using the appliance.
• Do not use the apparatus if you are unwell, tired or under the influence of
drugs or alcohol.
• Always keep an eye on children when the appliance is in use.
• When the appliance is in use, it should be monitored continuously.
Use the appliance for its intended purpose only.
• The appliance is intended for private and indoor use.
• The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from
incorrect use or handling.
• Incorrect use of the appliance can lead to personal injury or damage to the
appliance.
Repairs
• Never attempt to repair the apparatus and plug yourself. If the appliance, cord
or plug needs to be repaired, it should be taken to an authorized service centre
Connection
• The appliance can only be connected to AC220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply.
Avoid electric shock
• Do not use the apparatus if the product or switch is defective.
• The appliance and power cord must not be submerged in liquid or exposed to
rain or damp.
• Do not use the appliance if you have wet hands, if the floor is wet, or if the
appliance itself is wet.
• Never touch the wall socket with wet or damp hands.
Cord, plug and socket
• Check regularly that neither the cord nor the plug are damaged, and do not
use the appliance if they are, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other
way.
• Remove the plug from the socket when cleaning or when replacing accesso-
ries or parts.
• Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold
the actual plug.
• Never lift or carry the appliance using the cord.
• Keep the power cord away from hot or sharp objects and oil.
• Make sure that it is not possible to pull on or trip over the cable or any exten-
sion cord.
Storage
• When the appliance is not in use it should be unplugged and stored in a dry,
protected place out of the reach of children
Environmental tips
When the appliance is no longer functional, it should be disposed of in such a
way as to cause minimum environmental impact, in accordance with the regu-
lations of your local authority. In most cases you can take such products to your
local recycling station. As a consumer, you can also play a part in protecting the
environment by following the applicable environmental regulations and taking
old electrical and electronic equipment to your local recycling center.

Do not use for vacuuming up matches, hot ashes, cigarette butts, hard or sharp
objects, flammable materials (petrol, solvents etc) or fumes from the same.
Do not use for vacuuming up harmful dust.
Do not cover suction/exhaust ports. Keep clothes, hair and limbs clear of the
suction inlet.
Never tilt the vacuum cleaner.
Avoid running over power cable with the vacuum cleaner.
Do not use on animals or people.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Disposal
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use sepa-
rate collection facilities. Contact you local government for information regarding
the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in
landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get
into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
