Maintenance Daily Check battery condition, water level and voltage (12 or 24v) All safety guards and decals are in place. Inspect all bolts, nuts and hose fittings for tightness. 20 Hrs Remove chain guard and check chain tensions. Check “freeness” of swivel and Lubricate if required.

Drum Drive Belt Adjustment Check belt drive every 6 months. If hose does not retract, belt may be ‘slipping’. Tension on belt is adjusted by moving motor forwards to tighten or backwards to loosen. Tools needed: G-Clamp, Screwdriver, 10mm Ratchet Disconnect Anderson Plug at rear of the hose reel.

Tighten G-clamp to put tension on motor and move motor towards you to tighten belt. With G-clamp still in place, tighten 4x bolts (C) Remove G-clamp.

Tuning Transmitter to Receiver Your reel is delivered pre-tuned from the factory. If at some point you need a new radio transmitter or receiver board, you will need to re-tune your system. To tune your transmitter to the receiver, you will need to remove the covers off both the 915MHz transmitter and receiver to expose the dip-switch boards (Diagram 1).
