WARNINGS
1.
The pump must only be used by with the AC/DC charger or cigarette lighter DC 12V charger
supplied with the pump.
2.
This pump is intended to inflate items such as air mattresses, inflatable furniture etc. It is not designed
for continuous use exceeding 10 minutes. Extended operation can overheat and damage the pump.
3.
Do not exceed 10 minutes of continuous operation.
Take a 20-minute break before resuming inflation.
4.
Carefully follow the instructions on the item you are inflating.
Never exceed the recommended pressures. Bursting items can cause serious injury.
5.
Never leave the air pump unattended while in use.
6.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose the air pump to rain and store it
indoors. Do not use the air pump under wet conditions. Do not drop pump into water or other
liquids. Do not operate the pump with wet hands.
7.
Never allow sand, small rocks, etc. to be sucked into the inflation or deflation port while in use.
8.
Never look into or point the inflate opening toward your eyes while pump is operating.
9.
Never place your hand or fingers into the inflation or deflation opening at any time.
10. Never attempt to disassemble or close to the openings while the air pump is operating.
11. The supply cord, on the power supply, cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the power supply
should be scrapped.
12. The sound pressure level is approximately 87 dB (A).
13. This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
14. The supply cord of the AC/DC and 12V chargers cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the
AC/DC or 12V charger should be scrapped.
15.
The pump contains batteries that are non-rechargeable.

ASSEMBLY AND USE OF THE PUMP:
1.
The ON/OFF switch is marked with the symbols (I) and (O). (I) is the ON position.

The pump must be charged before use. The pump is not operatable while charging.

Remove the charge port cover, insert the DC plug (7.) into the charge port (3.).
4.
Plug the chosen charger into a suitable power source (see technical data)

A full charge takes app. 6 hours. Charge the pump for at least 6 hours before the initial use.
WARNING: Do not leave the pump connected to any of the chargers for more than 12 hours.

Don't empty the battery completely before recharging. Doing this will shorten the battery life.
Instead charge the battery when the pump has been used for some time.

When the pump has been charged, unplug the DC plug and re-fit the charge port cover on the
charge port (3.)
Select a suitable nozzle (4) and attach it to the inflation port (9), or deflation port (8), depending on
whether you wish to inflate or deflate.
Attach the nozzle to the valve on the inflatable device, and press (I) on the switch.
Pay special attention to warnings #2 - #4.
When deflating it might be necessary to pinch the valve with your fingers to open the flapped inside the
valve to allow air to escape.

Maintenance:

The pump can be cleaned with a damp rag. Allow the pump to dry completely before using it again.

Do not use corrosive liquids to clean the pump.
There is a fuse located in the tip of the 12V cigarette lighter plug (4).
To change the fuse:
Unthread the collar (1) and remove the collar and the tip (2) from the plug.
Remove and replace the fuse (3). The fuse must be replaced with a fuse of the same type,
and with the same rating: 2A
Reposition the tip (2) and collar (3).
Rethread the collar (3), take care not to cross thread. Hand tighten only.
Instruction for disassembly of pump for disposal of components
when pump has reached the end of its usable life:
1)
Remove the nozzles (4). Dispose of the nozzles as plastic according to local regulations
2)
Dispose of pump unit, AC/DC and 12V chargers as electric waste according to local regulations
Pump unit contains a Ni-MH battery.
