46 Camera Settings

Video Out

The Video Out setting allows you to adjust the video output,
depending on the type of your TV. Use the UP/DOWN
navigation buttons to select from the menu options. 2 options
are available:
• NTSC
• PAL

USB Mode

The USB Mode setting allows you to select the transfer
method between your camera and your PC. 2 options are
available:
• PTP (PictBridge Print): When the camera is connected to
a printer by a USB cable which supports Pictbridge, it can
directly print images stored on the media. For details on
PTP function, please see "PictBridge Print (PTP)" on
page 49.
• MSDC (default): The camera is set up to act as a mass storage device, allowing only
for transfer of files between your camera and PC.

Date Stamp

The Date Stamp setting allows you to adjust the format in
which the date will appear on each photo or video. You can also
deactivate this function if you wish. Setting a date stamp allows
for easy sorting and the date will appear on the photo when
printed. Press the OK button to confirm. Use the UP/DOWN
navigation buttons to select from the menu options. 4 options
are available:
• OFF (default)
• YYYY MM DD: year-month-date format
• MM DD YYYY: month-date-year format
• DD MM YYYY: date-month-year format
