Saving a Phone Number
Store contacts entries in your device. Your device
automatically sorts People entries alphabetically.
(For more information, see "About People" on page 31.)
To save a number from standby mode:
1.
Press

Enter the phone number by tapping the keys on
the keypad.
3.
Tap
Save to People
tapping six digits.)

Create new contact

Use the keyboard to enter the new contact name
and tap
to save the new entry.

Finding a Phone Number
You can search People for entries by name.

letters you enter, the more specific the search.)

Tap the contact to display his/her contact
information.
Dialing From the People List

Speed Dialing

You can store up to nine numbers in your device's
speed dial memory.
Press and hold the appropriate key for
approximately two seconds. The display confirms
that you have dialed the number when it shows
to save
"Dialing" at the upper-right side of the screen.
Note
Speed dialing is not available when you are roaming;
when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint
Network, you must always dial using eleven digits (1
+ area code + number).
