If the Region number of a DVD disc does not correspond to the Region number of this DVD player, the DVD player cannot play the disc. -

Playback Press the OPEN/CLOSE button. The STANDBY indicator light goes out and the tray opens. Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s label facing up. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. Press the STOP button to stop playback. RESUME function When you stop disc play, the player remembers where you stopped, so when you press PLAY again, it will pick up where you left off (unless the disc is removed, the STOP button... - Page 18 laying a Disc Stop Press the STOP button during playback.
