TROUBLESHOOTING

If the unit does not initially power on, make certain the unit is connected properly and that the power
supply is the correct voltage and amperage to support operation of the unit. If problems occur with
no code displayed, please contact an authorized service agent or technical service.

CLEANING PROCEDURE DOWNDRAFT

Mild detergent, clean non-abra-
sive towels
NOTE: Ventilator section to be cleaned in
conjunction with cooking appliance. Refer
to appliance user instructions for cleaning
procedure.
1.
TURN POWER SWITCH TO OFF.
2.
Remove BAFFLE FILTERS and GREASE CUP.
3. Empty GREASE CUP into an appropriate
grease collection receptacle.
4. Clean BAFFLE FILTERS and GREASE CUP in
a sink or dishwasher using mild detergent and
warm water.
5. Dry components with a clean non-abrasive
cloth. Reinstall BAFFLE FILTERS and GREASE
CUP(s) in ventilator.
6. Wipe exterior & interior surfaces of downdraft
with a clean cloth moistened with warm water
and mild detergent. Rinse by wiping with a
clean cloth moistened with warm water.
7.
Reconnect unit to electric power.
Procedure is complete
Cause
The cooker has become too hot
(e.g. due to blocked ventilation
slots).
Overheating-protection was
activated and the cooker has
switched off.
Temporary voltage overload
Clear vents, let cooker cool
down before restarting. If error
message continues contact
retailer.
Remove cookware from cooker
and let unit cool down before
restarting. Also please check
weather the pan is suitable for
induction cooker
Let cooker cool down before
restarting.

Mild detergent, clean non-abrasive
towels
NOTE: Ventilator section to be cleaned in conjunction
with cooking appliance. Refer to appliance user
instructions for cleaning procedure.
1.
TURN POWER SWITCH TO OFF.
2.
Remove BAFFLE FILTERS, GREASE CUP, and all
FILTER PACK.
3. Wipe interior of ventilator with a clean cloth
moistened with warm water and mild detergent.
Rinse by wiping with a clean cloth moistened with
warm water. DO NOT clean by spraying.
4. Dry ventilator thoroughly with a clean non-abrasive
cloth. Reinstall all FILTERS, BAFFLE FILTERS,
GREASE CUP.
5. Reconnect unit to electric power.
Procedure is complete
