3.8.3 On-site Installation

This section applies in any the following installation scenarios:
To install the 7705 SAR-Hm or 7705 SAR-Hmc chassis on site, perform the following
steps in order:
Step 1. Assess and prepare the site. See
Step 2. Unpack the chassis. See
Step 3. Install the SIM. This step is not required if the router has been pre-staged.
Step 4. Install the chassis according to one of the methods described in
Step 5. Ground the chassis. See
Step 6. Install the Main, Diversity, WiFi, and GPS antennas. See
Step 7. Connect the coaxial antenna cables and the network cables to the chassis.
Step 8. Prepare the DC input power cables and connections to the DC power feed.
