S3500, S4000 & S4000F Handheld Transmitters: • Setting Up: For the S4000 & S4000F, screw the external helical antenna into the antenna connector on the base of the microphone. For maximum range and performance it is important not to place your hand around this antenna whilst the microphone is in operation. The S3500 handheld microphones have a built in antenna.

S3500, S4000 & S4000F Beltpack and Guitar Transmitters: • Setting Up: Screw the external antenna into the antenna connector on the top of the beltpack. The antenna can either be a short wire or a helical type. Under no circumstances should the length of a wire antenna be shortened. Neither should a wire antenna be coiled up or wrapped with the audio lead - this will reduce the performance of the radio system.
