Operating Your Coffee Maker
2. Immediately
press HR and
MIN until the
time you want
coffee ready
appears on the
display in
orange. When
programming is
accepted the Electronic Clock will
automatically return to the red time
of day display.
3. Press AUTO.
The AUTO
Indicator Light
will glow to show
the coffee maker
is programmed
and will start
brewing at the
time you select.
4. At your programmed time, the
AUTO Indicator Light goes off and
the ON Indicator Light comes on.
After coffee brews the "Time Since
Brewing" Indicator Light comes on.
HOW TO TURN ON AND OFF
THE END-OF-BREWING/
DECALCIFICATION SIGNAL
If you wish to use the optional audible
End-of-Brewing/Decalcification Signal
you must turn it on. When the audible
tone sounds after brewing is complete
the coffee is ready. If the audible tone
sounds during brewing and water
remains in the Water Tank, this
indicates that the coffee maker should
be cleaned to remove calcium buildup.

To turn on the audible signal,
1. With time-of-day
appearing on the
Electronic Clock
display, press
and hold AUTO
for four seconds.
A tiny bell will
appear on the
display showing
you the audible
signal has been
activated. The
AUTO Indicator
Light also goes
on.
2. Press AUTO to turn its Indicator
Light off.
To turn off the audible signal,
1. Press and hold AUTO for four
seconds; the bell will disappear from
the display and the AUTO Indicator
Light will go on.
2. Press AUTO to turn its Indicator
Light off.
NOTE: The audible End-of-Brewing/
Decalcification Signal is the same tone
and cannot be activated or deactivated
separately.
