IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this product, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
Before first use ensure to handwash each piece of the kettle in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry
thoroughly. Should a stain remain after washing, rub it gently with a mild, non-abrasive
stainless-steel cleaner.
WARNING – Do not use abrasive cleaning tools as this will scratch the surface of the
stainless- steel.
Do not leave the kettle to soak in water for extended periods of time.
The kettle can be treated with limescale remover as needed.
Always ensure there is sufficient water in the kettle before placing it on the heating source.
Always ensure the size of the flame of a gas stove is properly controlled and does not flare up
on the sides of the kettle or overheat the handle. This could result in bronze/blue tinting on the
surface of the kettle.
Do not allow any part of the kettle to extend beyond the edge of the cooker.
Take care when removing the kettle from the heat source as the handle and spout might be
hot, we recommend using an oven glove/mitt.
Never allow the kettle to boil dry, this can cause the aluminum sandwich base to melt and lead
