PRECAUTIONS
Usage
Make sure that you are entirely familiar with the correct procedures for operating the device prior to the
usage.
Stop using the PBM Ortho device or its accessories if you have an allergic reaction to it. If this happens,
contact your doctor or orthodontist immediately.
Do not stare directly & closely at the light source on the mouthpiece; it might cause eye irritation
especially for children.
Do not use the device near high frequency (HF) equipment.
Although it can be used while lying down, it is recommended to use while sitting.
There is no need to be motionless during the use; you might watch TV, read, etc.
Do not use the device while performing complex tasks or operating machinery.
Charging
During charging, it is not recommended to do a treatment session or have the mouthpiece attached to
the battery pack. When the charging period is completed, then you can use the device freely.
During charging, please position the battery on a stable flat surface and out of the way to avoid tripping
hazards.
The battery is not water resistant and should not be rinsed or submerged in water.
Do not incinerate the battery by exposing it to excessive heat, short circuit or any similar hazardous
action to the battery.
Mishandling the battery may result in a burn, fire, or possibly even an explosion.
Mouthpiece
During usage, you should bite gently on the bite pad of the mouthpiece. Chewing or clenching on the
mouthpiece may harm the device, or lead to a choking hazard.
The mouthpiece must be detached from the battery when cleaning and should be kept in a dry
environment.
The mouthpiece is not dishwasher safe.
The mouthpiece should not be dried with a hairdryer
Exposing the mouthpiece to excessive heat and elevated temperatures may result in the softening of its
material, which would be considered permanent damage of the device.
