9dLD Locator, Version D

Introduction

NOTE: This document applies to 9dLD Location Device with Art. No.: 9dLD2-AB.
The 9dLD Location Device is DECT based and is used in the Ascom IP-DECT System when
location function is required. The handsets within the system can be programmed to measure
the radio signal of the 9dLD, and evaluate whether it is the best location. The location
information is transmitted together with an alarm and gives an indication of the position of the
handset.

12 – 24 V DC
IMPORTANT: Protect the unit against current exceeding 20 A. Use power cables

Screwdrivers for Phillips and slotted screws
16.5 mm drill for drilling antenna cable entry holes
12.5 mm drill for drilling power cable entry holes
5.5 mm hex nut spanner for the antenna
Cutting pliers
Spanner for 8 mm hexnuts
PDM Windows version
A handset with DECT Location feature, that is registered in the system
