5. Troubleshooting

Warning
Any troubleshooting should be conducted by
trained and authorized personnel only. Appro-
priate personal protective equipment (PPE)
shall be used when troubleshooting the ATS /
Bypass switch panel.

5.1 Alarms

Message
Locked, Alarm LED on
Switch not in AUTO
mode, Alarm LED on
Phases crossed
S1 undervoltage
S1 overvoltage
S1 phase missing
S1 unbalance
S1 phase rotation
S1 invalid frequency
S1 neutral
disconnected
Lock input activated
Slide switch is in handle or lock
Phase rotation of sources 1 and 2 are
Voltage of source 1 is under the
threshold level set in parameter "Drop-
out voltage, lower threshold"
Voltage of source 1 is over the
threshold level set in parameter "Drop-
out voltage, upper threshold"
One or two phases of source 1 are
Phases of source 1 are not symmetric
Phase rotation of source 1 is different
from the value of parameter "Phase
Frequency of source 1 is out of range
set in parameters "Drop-out frequency,
upper threshold" and "Drop-out
frequency, lower threshold"
Neutral is disconnected from source 1.
Note: The loss of neutral will be
detected in 3 phase distribution
systems with unbalanced loads
Danger
Hazardous voltage may be present. Disconnect
all power sources before performing work in-
side the ATS / Bypass switch panel. Failure to
do so may result in serious injury or death.
Fault
Turn slide switch into the AUTO position
