Electricity It is essential that the electrical supply to the MEDICA EDI - US is isolated before any items are changed or maintenance work performed. The appliance coupler (mains lead) connected to the rear of the unit can be removed to isolate the power supply.

Installation The unit is supplied with a quick start manual that allows the unit to be quickly installed and commissioned. It is recommended that a trained ELGA representative carry out the installation of the product. Commissioning The unit is supplied with the software set in a commissioning mode that must be completed before being used to supply the application.

The sanitization frequency required is dependent on the feedwater, local environment, usage patterns and application. As a general rule, ELGA LabWater recommends sanitization of the RO at 6 monthly intervals. However, the period between sanitizations could be extended in particular circumstances. For example, microbial growth will usually be lower with clean feed water, well-maintained pre-treatment, low temperatures and heavy usage.
