    Main Features The D-BASS 210 and 115 are powerful yet lightweight professional bass amps, which utilize Roland’s FFP technology incorporating new Active Speaker Control. The D-BASS 115X is a powered extension speaker. Stacking the D-BASS 210/115 and the D-BASS 115X lets you create an even more powerful system.

    • Connect the D-BASS 115X to D-BASS 210/115 to create an even more powerful system. • The speaker is designed to allow a D-BASS 210/115 to be set (stacked) on top of it. • The D-BASS 115X can also be used effectively as an expansion speaker with other small bass amps.

    Models the wide-range sound of tweeter- equipped bass amps in use since the ’80s. This amp type produces a dynamic tone with a good balance of low-end presence and clear, open highs. MODERN Perfect for slap bass. Creates an aggressive tone in which the pres- ence of the lower range and the transparency of the upper range are greatly augmented.

    Switch on the equipment connected to the D-BASS 210/115’s EFFECT SEND/RETURN jacks. Turn on the D-BASS 210/115. Switch on any equipment connected to the D-BASS 210/115’s OUTPUT jacks. Turn off the devices in the reverse order to which they were switched on.

    To turn muting off, set both the MUTE switch and the foot switch to OFF. 2. SUB OUT Jack Use this to connect the D-BASS 210/115 with the 115X. Connect this jack to the 115X INPUT jack. * The volume level for this output is adjusted with the VOLUME knob.

    D-BASS 115X Control Panel fig.02-01 1. INPUT Jack Connect a D-BASS 210/115 or other bass amp or device here. Connect to the SUB OUT jack when connecting a 210/ 115. The SUB OUT volume is linked to the VOLUME knob, allowing you to control the volume of the 115X with the 210/115 VOLUME knob.

    6. VOLUME Knob This adjusts the total volume level of the unit’s internal speaker. When connecting the D-BASS 210/115 SUB OUT jack to the 115X’s INPUT jack, adjust the volume balance between the 115X and the D-BASS 210/115 speaker output.

    If you have trouble eliminating the muffled sound, use a higher setting. ■ Adjusting in SUB WOOFER Mode • As you listen to the overall combined tone from the 210/115 and the 115X, adjust the tone with the VOLUME and FREQUENCY knobs.

    Be sure to remove all casters when accidental movement may be dangerous such as when setting up the D-BASS 210/ 115/115X on stage or when transporting it in a vehicle. If casters have been attached to the amp, make sure it is used only on a stable, level surface.

    ❑ Is the TWEETER knob on the D-BASS 210/115 connected to the INPUT jack turned completely down? → When the TWEETER knob on the D-BASS 210/115 is turned down all the way, the signals in the tweeter’s frequency range are not output from SUB OUT, diminishing the effect of the 115X’s TWEETER knob.
