Direct to Glass Installation 1. To mount the WireFree™ Li-ion Solar Panel, choose position on the interior side of the glass. WireFree Motorized 2. Position the WireFree™ Li-ion Solar Panel photovoltaic Window cells in direct sunlight. Ensure there are no obstructions. Covering Do not install on tinted or Low E glass.

Bracket Installation You will need to mount solar panel with brackets if glass application is not possible, such as: panel blocks window movement or casement, double-hung windows or when roll-up cassettes/headrails inhibit direct-to-glass mounting area. Window Frame Mounting 1. For inside top of window frame mounting, position brackets and mark hole locations.

Programming If this installation is an upgrade to an existing Somfy WireFree™ Note: motorized window covering, there is no need to reprogram the motor. If this is a new installation with a Somfy Wirefree™ Motor, please follow the motor installation and programming guide.
