I. Attach antennas (see image I)
•
Connect the rod antenna provided in the box or your building antenna to the TV antenna input on
your PCTV Hybrid Pro Card using the adapter provided.
Note: If you use the rod antenna included in the box, position it as high and as close to the window
as possible.
Reception depends on your location and can be impaired by steel-reinforced walls as well as tall
neighbouring buildings. In this type of environment, an external/roof antenna is required. Mobile
DVB-T reception, e.g., in a car or train, is generally not possible.
To avoid possible damage resulting from the magnetic field surrounding the antenna feet, keep any
hard drives or other components that are sensitive to magnetic forces away at a sufficient distance.

Connect the dipole antenna included in the box to the radio antenna input of your PCTV Hybrid Pro
Card (optional).
II. Computer connection (see image II)

Insert the PCTV Hybrid Pro Card into an available CardBus slot on your PC.
III. Attaching peripheral devices (see Figure III) (optional)

Connect peripheral devices by connecting the A/V adapter cable included in the box to the
corresponding input on your PCTV Hybrid Pro Card.
IV. Software installation
If the "Add new hardware" dialog window appears during installation, press cancel.

Place the installation CD-ROM into the appropriate CD drive from your PC. Installation will begin
automatically. Then follow the instructions provided by the setup program.
V. Using the remote control
•
To use the remote control included in the box to operate your PCTV Hybrid Pro Card, make sure it is
aimed as directly as possible at the reception area of the PCTV Hybrid Pro Card casing.
