Reducing the Effects of Hand and
Subject Movement
You can turn on the camera's Anti Shake feature to reduce
image blur due to subject movement or hand movement when
shooting a moving subject using telephoto, when shooting a
fast-moving subject, or when shooting under dim lighting
conditions.
Your digital camera is equipped with a CCD shift type camera
shake correction feature and a high-sensitivity anti image blur
feature. These two features work in concert to minimize the
effects of hand and subject movement.
1.
In a REC mode, press [MENU].
2.
On the "REC" tab, select "Anti Shake" and
then press [ ].
3.
Use [ ] and [ ] to select the setting you want
and then press [SET].
When you want to do this:
Minimize the effects of both hand and
subject movement
Minimize the effects of hand movement
only
Increase sensitivity to minimize the
effects of subject movement only
Confirm the Anti Shake effect on the
monitor screen while the shutter button is
half-pressed.
Recording is not performed when the
shutter button is pressed all the way.
• Turning off the camera cancels this
setting and changes it to the setting
that was selected before you changed
it to "
DEMO".
Turn off both features
• Icons appear on the monitor screen to shows which of the
above settings are currently turned on.
