    Product Information ® Product Information The GlideScope Cobalt AVL System is designed for “1st pass success.” The Cobalt AVL provides a consistently clear view of a patient’s airway, enabling quick intubations. The Cobalt AVL design is based on the GlideScope GVL, which is clinically proven to achieve a Cormack-Lehane Grade I or II view 99 percent of the time.
  • Page 34 Additionally, it is useful for teaching purposes, verification of endotracheal tube (ETT) placement, nasal intubation, and ETT exchange. The Cobalt AVL is easy to learn, use, and teach. It is ideal for acute care settings and emergency environments. It also integrates into standard ED, OR, ICU, and NICU applications.

    Cobalt AVL System ® Set Up the Video Baton and Stat To set up the Cobalt AVL Video Baton and GVL Stat, you must connect the ® baton to the monitor, and then insert the baton into the appropriate size stat.

Therefore, make sure that you do not need to use the GlideScope for the duration of the download process. You can stop the download process at any time. If you stop the process before downloading is complete, none of the video files will be saved on the USB drive.

    Cleaning the GlideScope Cobalt AVL System is an important part of maintaining the system. Make sure that the system is clean before each use.
