Intercom between the main unit and portable handset

An intercom is available between the main unit and portable handset.
A 2-way intercom is available between 2 portable handsets.
(For KX-PW501DL users: An optional handset is needed when using this feature.)
Using the main unit:

I For single portable handset users
1 Lift the handset.
2 Press
(Intercom).
I For multiple portable handset users
1 Lift the handset.
2 Press
(Intercom).
3 Press the portable handset number (
which you want to call.

Start talking.

Replace the handset to end the intercom call.
