Step 2: Measure your temperature
1. To take your first measurement, or if you also use the alarm function in the
future, simply deactivate the alarm tone by pressing one of the 3 buttons
and then press one of the 3 buttons again. If the alarm is not used after the
first measurement, press one of the 3 buttons to turn on the Lady-Comp
and then press one of the 3 buttons again to start the measurement.
2. Place the measuring sensor as far back as comfortable to the left or right
under your tongue and close your mouth. The measuring sensor should not
bemoved during the measurement. The device measures your temperature
as soon as a flashing thermometer and a temperature indicator (initially
without a value) appear on the display.
3. At the end of the successful measurement, you will hear a beep and the
measured temperature and fertility status, which is valid until midnight, will
be displayed. You can see your fertility status later in the day by the color of
the start screen. Details of the last measurement can be found in the fertility
window. On the next day Lady-Comp switches to the fertility forecast before
you measure again.
If no measurement value can be determined after 3 minutes, the measurement is cancelled. You
can cancel the measurement manually by pressing the plus and minus button simultaneously.
