Mounting the Engine

1. Ensure that the hitch tube is clean and free from
dirt or debris.
2. Unpack the engine assembly.
3. Loosen, but do not remove, the 2 bolts and
nuts securing the engine mount brackets to the
engine mounting plate

4. Remove the 2 nuts holding the battery hold
down straps in place and set the nuts, washers
and bolt tube off to the side

5. Remove the battery from its position on the
assembly and rest the filter on the base plate.
