3. OPERATION

Plug the appliance into the wall socket.
'ON / OFF' on the control panel: press the ON button to switch on the
appliance. Pressing a second time switches the device off.
'SPEED': press this button to start the device. The function changes when
you press the key as follows: LOW (slow) - MEDIUM (medium) - HIGH
(fast) - LOW (slow).
MODE 'Wind type' setting: With this key you can select the mode: normal
wind, natural wind and sleeping wind (with interval). In the normal wind
mode, the indicator light will not light up in the other modes it will light.
'SWING'/'LOUVER' - oscillation: When this button is pressed, the airflow
can be blown horizontally (swing) or vertically (louver), the indicator light
will light up that this mode is switched on. This mode stops when you
press the button again.
'TIMER': this button operates the adjustable timer from 1 to 7,5 hours with
0,5-hour increments. The appliance is switched off automatically when
the time has expired.
'COOL': press this button to start (extra) cooling. This mode stops when
this button is pressed again.
IMPORTANT: make sure there is enough water in the water tank before
pressing this button.
Usage remote control
Insert batteries into the remote control (not standard included).
There are 8 keys on the remote control which have the same
function as the control panel of the device. Always point remote
control towards the cooler for correct use. Range up to 6 meters
at an angle of 60 degrees. When the remote control is not used,
store it in a safe place.
Pay attention:
- Never mix old and new batteries
- If the remote control is not used for a longer period of time, remove the
batteries
THE USE OF A COOLING ELEMENT
The cooling element has a particular characteristic, it can absorb heat and keeps
the water temperature is lower than the ambient temperature.
Use:
a. Fill to MAX. (NOT overfill!) Place the cooling element in the freezer to ensure
that it freezes completely (put at least 24 hours in a freezer).
b. Unlock the water tank, pull the tank forward and place a cooling element in the
water tank. Push the water tank back into the unit and lock it.
c. There are two ice packs supplied for continuous use.
