    6. Operation The AC/DC Voltage Detector is an ideal tool for checking hot and neutral conductors, detecting the presence of AC voltage at wall outlets, fuses switches...etc. It's also for checking the presence of DC voltage of the automobile battery (system). ●...

  • Page 9 ● DC voltage detection: Hold the holding portion of the AC/DC voltage detector, and make the contact testing tip contact the positive terminal(+) of the automotive battery,(see Fig 3), and use your another hand to touch the hood of the car(ground), if there is DC voltage presence, you can hear an audible tone and can see a visible red LED.

    7. Maintenance ● Battery replacement a. Disconnect the AC/DC Voltage Detector from the circuit under testing. b. Remove the battery cover, then take the batteries away and replace with new batteries (type AAA 1.5V x 2). c. Reinstall the battery cover. Battery Cover Batteries (AAA 1.5V x 2)

Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and detergent : do not use abrasives or solvents. If the meter is not to be used for periods of longer than 60 days, remove the batteries and store them separately.
